Hey everyone --

Turns out they're finally releasing 'Daria' on DVD. Who 'they' are is some fascist Canadian broadcasting company who probably fought with MTV over the rights to the series. But that struggle doesn't matter; it's all about the misery chick and her slow approach to breaching our homes and DVD players. Are you excited? Were you an angsty teen age girl at one point in your life? Then you should be excited. That show is probably the one good thing MTV will be remembered for. It's the station that plays Wildboyz at three in the morning on a Monday. That's music television for you.

Daria was hot shit when she originally aired because, well, she was awesome. And then some Canadian network picked her up and she enjoyed a revival in the early 00s. Is that what we're calling them? Should I have said 2000s? And what happens when it's 2010 something? Are we calling it "The Tens"? Because that sounds fucking retarded. Daria would agree. I happen to know for a fact she turned a bunch of teenage girls back onto the whole grunge/industrial rock scene after the nineties, which is a feat on its own. Girl lived in a padded room. At home. She was pretty awesome. I know a couple of old girlfriends who really dug that show. Sometimes I wish Sick Sad World was a reality and then I wouldn't have to watch HBO at 3 am because we all know what happens on HBO at 3 am. Cathouse!

I got the email about Daria because they used some of my stuff on the show (I know, I'm ancient) and because I sign up for everything possible just so I feel like people like me enough to send me emails. So if you want to listen to thirty odd seconds of I'm Afraid of Americans performed by yours truly, then go buy the DVD. Keep in mind I'm not going to endorse every show that's ever sampled me. That would mean I would encourage you to watch Degrassi: The Next Generation because they once used Feel It in an episode. An episode in which Paige has to testify at the trail of the guy who raped her. Fun fact. I may have watched that episode. And then relapsed afterwards.

Juuust kidding. I know you all are looking forward to news about the Arachne tour but I'm afraid I can't tell you anything. More because I don't know than because I like keeping secrets. Mari and I have performed together a couple of times (you remember what she's like on stage -- how can I resist that?) but I don't have her phone number so I can't call her up for all the juicy gossip. Not like she'd tell me anyway, seeing as I spill everything on here for you guys. I spoil you, I really do.

If you were at the last show, I may have said something about Drogo not touring anymore... I lied. I don't know why I said that. I might've been attempting to show solidarity to the Black Widow while on a stage high, which came out to produce a falsehood. We'll be around again. I'm not sure when, but sometime. Also, which of you naughty things are editing my wikipedia page on the DL? In 2007, Lee was featured on El-P's album "I'll Sleep When You're Dead", on the track "Flyentology". The song rocks. I'm not going to argue that, but it's hardly a fact-based statement. Are you allowed to post opinions on wikipedia? Because if so, I'm deleting Limp Bizkit's whole page and replacing it with "FUCKTARDS".

Just kidding. (So wikipedia won't revoke my membership or whatever.) Go leave love on Arachne's myspace. Keep editing my wikipedia page so I look like I'm more awesome than I am. Be good. Love you all.
